Join us on Wednesday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. as we continue to discuss and explore issues of race, gender, class, and culture. In recognition of Women's History Month, Rev. Dr. Betty Livingston Adams will discuss the topic Beyond Suffrage: The Women's March in Black & White. Rev. Adams is the Associate Minister at Fountain Baptist Church, as well as a Research Fellow and adjunct faculty member in the History Department at Rutgers University. She is the author of Black Women's Christian Activism, which won the prestigious Wilbur Award for 2017.
