RBPL is partnering with local teens to host their production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream—in our backyard!
Taking inspiration from Shakespeare in the Park, this local production will be orchestrated in the library’s backyard.
We encourage you to bring your own lawn chairs, picnic blanket, and waters to enjoy this family-friendly production.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows a series of human mortals, two pairs of lovers and a troop of amateur actors who find themselves mysteriously at the whims of a pair of fairy royalty inhabiting the forest they happen to be inhabiting. The fairy king and queen, enduring their own conflicts, cause chaos in the lives of the humans through enchantments, deceit, and plain old mix-ups over the course of one wild and magical summer night. Shakespeare’s classic tale like you’ve never seen it before, a whimsical, romantic, and all out hilarious show to celebrate summer!
