Join us for a hands-on Winter Sowing workshop and learn a simple, low-maintenance way to start seeds during the colder months. No fancy equipment needed, just gallon milk jugs, some potting soil, and the right seeds. Come ready to learn, plant, and get your hands a little dirty!

Volunteers from Patchwork for Wildlife (https://www.maryellenwarner.com/patchwork) and a Rutgers trained Master Gardener will be on hand to help and answer questions. 

If you have some translucent plastic gallon containers bring them, along with seeds from 'self seeding' perennial plants. Self seeding plants include: echinacea, butterfly weed, native hibiscus, hyssop, columbine, calendula, foxglove, coneflower, lupine, bachelor buttons, marigold .
